Got this through email and thought it was kinda cool. I’ve heard the song countless times but didn’t realize how many references were in there to events in history. Someone put together photos and the lyrics to show a little about what each one is about.

Saw this on TV the other night and started watching because it was about Jamaica. It turned out to be really interesting. The kids from Hobbema don’t have an easy life but when they travel to Jamaica and spend some time in Spanish Town they see there are some with less than they have. There is a Jamaican cadet group as well and they get to work together and share a bit about their cultures. If you have a few minutes, give it a look.

I’ve just always liked this song and wanted to share it. The video has the lyrics which are really what make this song. It’s always nice when a song that has a good beat and is a bit catchy also has great lyrics.

I watched this video sometime last year and found it fascinating. I’m always looking for new Eben Moglen videos online because he is such a great speaker. I admit the video is long but if you would really like to learn how copyright and so called “Intellectual Property” are affecting our culture set aside some time to watch. Fifteen minutes, and if you’re not hooked then turn it off.

Had to post this video. It’s amazing and at the same time terrifying. Can you imagine seeing that thing coming after you? You kick it, toss rocks at it and it just keeps coming. The balance and the fact it can jump is impressive.
